PhD Students

If you are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in the research area of bioengineering nanotechnology and nanomechanics, with the focus on the behavior of nano-/bio-materials and cellular systems at the nano-scales, please contact Dr Navin Kumar.

PhD student are get selected though our regular selection process.. The research could be experimental studies using the state-of-the-art instruments, theoretical modeling using analytical and computational (molecular and finite element simulations) techniques, or a combination of experimental and modeling techniques.

Please email your Resume (CV) with research interests and the Contact information of two references. The students with a Bachelor degree in Bio Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Solid Mechanics and Chemical Engineering are welcomed to apply, and other majors are also encouraged to contact.

Undergraduate/graduate  students

If you are a motivated undergraduate student and interested in nanotechnology, especially on explore nano-/bio-materials and cellular biosystmes, please contact Dr Navin Kumar.

The research could be experimental studies using the state-of-the-art instruments, theoretical modeling using analytical and computational (molecular and finite element simulations) techniques, or a combination of experimental and modeling techniques. Since the training for using the state-of-the-art instruments and modeling techniques could be time-consuming, the undergraduate Research Assistants are preferred to work in the lab for more than one semester in order to have a deeper exploring in nanotechnology.

Please email your Resume (CV) with research interests and the Contact information of one reference. The undergraduate students in any majors of general engineering and science are welcomed to apply.
